Functional Medicine is growing fast yet many of the practitioners Dr. Weatherby consulted with expressed a feeling of isolation in their geographical community and a desire to be able to network with other like-minded practitioners in a private and professional online environment. With his experience in creating and maintaining an online learning environment Dr. Weatherby formed the idea of integrating a training center within the FMTown platform. This way people who want to improve the practice of Functional Medicine could continue their education whilst still having the social environment and interaction with the general community. From this idea was born the Functional Medicine Training Center.
